Why We Started EPIA

When we launched EPIA, it wasn’t just to open another fertility clinic. It was to change how fertility and women’s health are approached in India—clinically, emotionally, and systemically.

Over the years, we saw the same story play out across countless women’s experiences. By the time many reached a fertility specialist, the window for early intervention had already narrowed. They had spent years moving between doctors, getting incomplete answers, or being told to “wait and try.” Others were met with information that was either too technical, too vague, or too filtered through assumptions about what they should want.

We knew there had to be a better way.

EPIA is rooted in empathy

At EPIA, we decided to build a centre where women could get clear answers early, reliable information, and supportive care no matter where they were in their reproductive journey. Whether someone is planning ahead in their 20s, actively trying to conceive in their 30s, or managing a complex fertility condition—our approach is the same: personalised, evidence-based, and rooted in empathy.

EPIA is about choice

We also recognised that fertility is not just about treatment—it’s about choice. For some women, that means egg freezing while pursuing career or personal goals. For others, it means exploring IVF, donor options, or hormone testing after years of unexplained delays. We support these decisions with science-backed tools, advanced testing, and one-on-one care that respects each individual’s timeline.

This mission is led by our Founder, Sakshi Bakshi, who brings a deep commitment to women’s wellness and healthcare innovation. As the Director of EPIA, Sakshi oversees operations, marketing, and finance—while staying focused on improving access and transparency in reproductive care.

With a Bachelor’s in Business Management from Singapore Management University, a Master’s in Management from ESCP Europe in Paris, and training from the Stanford Seed Program, Sakshi combines strategic vision with on-ground insight. Her decade-long career in healthcare consulting and her recognition as one of BW Disrupt’s 30 Under 30 reflect a sharp focus on impact—especially in spaces where healthcare and societal change intersect.

Today, EPIA offers a full range of services—from fertility testing and personalised consultations to IVF protocols, women’s wellness support, and integrative programs like ConceivePlus™. We’ve also created a digital-first system that allows patients to book consultations, track appointments, and access fertility tools online—making care more accessible across cities and time zones.

Most importantly, we’re here to help women take charge of their reproductive health on their terms. No pressure. No unnecessary delays. Just the right information, at the right time, backed by a team that understands the weight of every decision.

EPIA isn’t just a clinic—it’s a place where your fertility questions are taken seriously, and your time is respected and we started EPIA because we believe informed, early care leads to better outcomes. And every woman deserves that.
