The Egg Freezing Process
Egg Freezing Consultation
We encourage you to arrange a virtual consultation, during which we will assess your medical history and engage in a conversation about your family planning goals. This tailored discussion will offer invaluable insights to steer you on the path to realizing your aspirations for family building.
Personalized Plan
After receiving your results, a qualified reproductive endocrinologist will propose an individualized plan. Your dedicated fertility care team will guide you through the entire process, including any additional tests that may be needed and the proper administration of at-home hormone injections.
Stimulation Process (Day 1-13)
You will receive hormone injections or pills to stimulate the growth of your eggs. You will visit our facility for regular scans and blood tests. Once your hormone levels and eggs are ready, you will receive a trigger injection to initiate ovulation.
Egg Retrieval (Day 14)
You will receive sedation for a brief 10-15 minute period as a physician retrieves your eggs. You may experience some mild soreness afterward, but the majority of women can resume their regular activities the following day. On the same day, an embryologist will assess and cryopreserve the eggs that have been retrieved

So what comes after egg freezing?
Your eggs will be safeguarded in a secure facility for as long as you wish to store them. Our aspiration is that you freeze your eggs and can still conceive naturally. However, should you encounter difficulties in the future; your frozen eggs will serve as a backup. The great news is that they will remain the same age as when you preserved them. If needed, you can utilize your frozen eggs through a procedure known as IVF, a service provided by EPIA.
